Before You Clean Your AirPods
Gather these simple cleaning items.
a. Hair Dryer
b. soft-bristle toothbrush
c. Rubbing Alcohol or Hydrogen peroxide
d. Q-Tip
Step 1: Use a microfiber alcohol

Cleaning air pods with microfiber cloth is easy to remove fingerprint, dust and sweat. First of all, dip a cotton swab in 70% isopropyl Alcohol (just slightly dump), then carefully rub the earbud to remove dirt, earwax and Bactria. Avoid pouring liquid inside earbuds or charging case. this method is completely safe and helps to fix muffled sound.
Step 2: Q-tip

Take a Q-tip, slightly dampen the swab with alcohol, and wisely rub it around the speaker mesh, frame, and rubber tips to remove earwax, debris, and sweat buildup. Always clean gently and avoid pushing deep to prevent any damage
Step 3: Use a toothbrush

Grab a dry soft-bristle toothbrush and gently brush the earbuds’ speaker grills to remove wax and clogged dirt. Always keep your strokes light, so you don’t press deeper into the mesh. This safe method works well for air pods, earphone and earbuds, where a cloth can’t reach to it’s edges. Regular brushing helps to fix muffled audio and keep the sound clean.
Step 4: Soak rubber tips in alcohol

Soaking rubber tips (like AirPods Pro ) in alcohol for a few minutes is helpful to remove debris, dust, earwax and kill germs or bacteria. After soaking, gently wipe tips with a microfiber cloth and dry well before reattaching. This method cleans your earbuds and maintains hygiene. Soak only the removable rubber, not the entire earbuds.
Step 5: Dry Air pods using hairdryer’s cool setting
